Fork in the road

How many does one person have to come across before he finds a nice long stretch of highway. It has been plaguing me for a while, I think I'm on the straight road doing fine then crap another fork in the road do you go left do you go right or go back and start again.

But I think I've got it, stop driving get out and walk for a while this way it will take me longer and I can enjoy the peace and quite of the open air.
Maybe even find a hippie chic on the way to keep me company and walk hand in hand for a while.
